Escambrón Beach

 

Part of the Blue Flag environmental program. Warm and calm beach on the Atlantic Ocean. Route 25, stop 8. Open daily 7:00am-5:00pm.

Ocean Park Beach

 

One of the most beautiful beaches in the metro area. A wind surfers and kind surfers paradise. Located in the shoreline between Condado and Isla Verde area.

San Juan Water Fun

Located at Isla Verde Beach where calm waters usually prevail at the public bathing beach in Carolina, behind ESJ Towers and El San Juan Hotel & Casino.

Isla de Cabras Beach

 

A great photographic spot to capture the cruise ships entering the San Juan harbor. Beach at the northwest tip of Isla de Cabras. Route 870. Open daily 8:00am-4:30pm.

Sardinera Beach

 

A pristine, white sandy beach waits for you. Located at the end of Route 697. Open daily 8:30pm-5:00pm.

Cerro Gordo Beach

 

One of the favorites beaches in the North Coast. Near the Dorado golf courses and tourist area, Route 690, Km 7.1. Open daily 8:30am-5:30pm.

Puerto Nuevo Beach

 

This beach with its beautiful alcoves was the inspiration for a famous song of Trio Vegabajeño. Route 686, Km 12 & 692. Open daily 8am-6pm.

Los Tubos Beach

 

The best beach for beach festivals and youth events. Ideal for picnics and recreational facilities. Route 686. Tue-Sun 8:00am-5:00pm.

Las Criollas Beach

 

Also the location for the Festival Playero and San Juan Bautista Day. Route 681, between Punta Palmas Altas & Palmas Altas.

Blue Hole and Shack Beach

 

The greatest beaches for surfing, snorkeling and horseback riding. Route 4466, just east of Villa Montaña Beach Resort.

Jobos Beach

 

A beautiful and great surfing beach. Stay near the seashore. Route 466, just east of 4466, Bo. Bajura.

Las Cascadas Aquatic Park

 

A newly remodeled family fun water park. Open from April through August. Mon-Fri 10am-5pm, Sat-Sun 10:00am-7:00pm.

Crash Boat Beach

 

At the hospitable town of Aguadilla you’ll find this aqua-blue white sandy beach. A popular sport beach. End of Route 458, off route 107.

Wilderness Beach

 

A very large tree-lined beach and major surfing spot, past Old Spanish Lighthouse. Route 107 to the end of the road.

Surfer’s Beach

 

The famous table top and survivor surfing areas are found at the northern end of the beach. Old Ramey Base.

Pico de Piedra Beach

 

A very attractive public beach just west of town with covered picnic areas scattered around the grounds. Route 115, Km 21.

Rincón Surfing Beaches

 

 Some of the best surfing beaches in the world! Spanish Wall, Indicator and Steps. Near the lighthouse.

Tres Hermanos Beach

 

Completes the chain of surfing beaches that started in Isabela. Public beach with camping area. Route 401, Km 1.0. Open daily 8am-5pm.

Isla de Ratones Beach

 

A small island normally accessible from a roadside dock. There are many seafood restaurant near the dock. Route 102, Km 13.8.

Boquerón Beach

 

This public beach is a part of the sea side village of the small town of Boqueron. Route 101, Km 18.1.

Buyé Beach

 

An excellent place to relax and enjoy a slower pace. Route 307, Km 4.8, Bo. Pedernales.

La Parguera Beaches

 

Boat rides are available to go to Mata La Gata island public beach. Other local island beach include: Caracoles, Playa Rosada, Cayo Enrique and El Laurel. Along Route 324 at Parguera Village.

Guilligan’s Island

Guayanilla Beach

 

Situaded on one the best natural harbors in the Caribbean Sea: the Guayanilla Bay. Route 336. Tel. 787-835-2660

Caja de Muertos Island

 

Island paradise, with beautiful beaches, dry forest, marine museum and a panoramic view from its old lighthouse. Daily exits 8:30 am-4:30pm, from the Tablado Stroll of the Guancha.

Punta Guilarte Beach

 

A lighthouse marks the entrance to this spot. Route on the west side of Patillas Bay. Route 3, Km 130.9.

Los Bohíos Beach

 

From this beach you have an excellent view of the Punta Tuna Lighthouse to the south. Route 760, Bordaleza Sector.

Punta Santiago Beach

 Public beach in the breezy east coast. Located just northeast of Humacao. Wed–Sun 9:00am–5:30pm.

La Paseadora

 

Great snorkeling spot near Cayo Santiago, a research station for the Caribbean Medical School of the University of Puerto Rico. Boat access through dock at the boardwalk.

Seven Seas Beach

 

Nestled in a wide cove where pelicans dive for their food. Route 195, Km 4.8. Open daily 9:00am-6:00pm.

Flamenco Beach
